 STILOWEAR began in 2004 as a partnership between two close friends from the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. Subsequently, STILOWEAR has successfully achieved its first goal in producing a label that has not only brought about a high fashion underground status, but also brings about the notion of a lifestyle. Over the past three years STILOWEAR has focused on producing innovative designs that are highly influenced by a stylistic culture that has no boundaries - Hip Hop!!!

In the pursuit of style & originality in street wear apparel, the founders of STILOWEAR began to explore elements of the surrounding environment and culture that the ethnically diverse suburbs in Melbourne gave to children growing up. With the assistance of underground and alternative artists as well as graphic designers across Australia, STILOWEAR has made a name for itself in the Australian Hip Hop fashion industry. The slang word STILO comes from the word estilo which is the Latin Spanish word for style.

Product overview

Our products range from Australian made t-shirts, sweaters and hooded jumpers to imported t-shirts, caps and beanies from the United States. We make it a significant part of our pre-production process to select the highest grade of cotton used for our garments. STILOWEAR releases a collection for both summer and winter. With the law of supply and demand, a maximum of only 50 prints for each design is released to retailers across Australia in order to give value to our product. We believe that mass production would only entail a lesser sense of originality.
